Hello, my name is Sambath Ouk. I was born in Khaoidang Refugee Camp and immigrated to the US when I was two years old. I am a father and husband in life, an educator by trade and a mentor by choice! During my youth, I was part of the Minnesota folk dance groups of The United Cambodian Association Dance Troop and the Wat Munisotaram Performers. My specialties were the Coconut Dance (របាំត្រឡោក), The Flute Dance (របាំគេន), and The Scarf Dance (របាំកន្សែងស្នេហ៍).

Hi I'm Tash! I'm 17 and currently a Junior at PLHS. I have previous dancing history in 

Cambodian classical dance, but now I mostly focus on Cambodian folk dance or Kpop covers. In my free time so love making/editing cute vlogs or just going out with my friends :) My goal this year is to truly make a name for romdoul. When I'm older, I'm considering a career in the entertainment industry; either film making or performing. Romdoul fighting !!!

Hey my name is Jaelin

I’m in 11th grade (17). I’m involved in a couple sports, I run in track and I also play volleyball for my school. I enjoy music, fashion, cars, videography, and I really like dancing, whether it’s the traditional dancing I’m involved in or hip-hop dancing. I plan to go to college for business, otherwise I would like to pursue a career involving something in the entertainment industry. One of my dreams is being able to be a backup dancer for the Super Bowl.

I’m in the 10th grade (16). Some of my hobbies include being in this dance group, being a photographer, procrastination, cooking, volleyball and not being financially responsible. As for who I am; I am a first generation Cambodian American, currently attending Prior Lake High School with a goal of having my own brand

My name is Ayden I’m an 11th grader (17). Some of my hobbies are skateboarding, dancing, and working on cars. I’m a Cambodian American whose goal is to have a shop and work/own many cars. I’m a track and field athlete who does a variety of different events. I love listening to music mainly k-pop such as stay-c, twice, newjeans, and blackpink to name a few. I love traveling especially going to Cambodia since I get a feel of what my family’s life was like when they lived over there before immigrating to the U.S. I like stargazing since it’s so calming to me and I try to go where there’s no light pollution so Cambodias country side is the best for it.

Hello, my name is Elisha, I'm a junior at Shakopee High School, and I'm 17 years old. In my spare time, I enjoy reading a wide range of graphic novels especially action, fantasy, and romance. I also participate in a badminton club at my school, which I enjoy. My interests include drawing, crocheting, and skateboarding. I am fascinated by art, fashion, and filmmaking. My goal is to contribute to the team :D Fighting!!!

Hi I'm Brandon Kek and I am a junior at Shakopee High School. I play volleyball, and I help run an Asian Student Union at Shakopee. In my free time I like to go workout or do song covers; I look forward to going out with friends to try new and adventurous things. I’m a first gen born Cambodian American and very excited to get more in touch with my Khmer side. In my future, I want to start a business or find a way to help people in the world while balancing my hobbies when I’m older.

Hi my name is Nary I was born in Phnom Penh Cambodia but moved to Minnesota when I was 4 years old. I’m in 10th grade(16), in my free time I like to ski/skate, paint, dance and go biking. I surprisingly like to work with kids/people and go outside and touch grass. I’m interested in going into the Biomedical Science field after I graduate Prior Lake High school.

Hi, my names Jasmine :) I’m in 10th grade (15), I’m a second generation Cambodian-American just trying to get by. I’m a swimmer and I do MMA. In my free time I love playing the piano and doing arts and crafts. If I’m not doing any of those then I’m probably gaming. A dream of mine is to play piano for weddings. I’m always up for new friends :)

Hello my name is Donovan Ouk I’m a 10th grader at Prior lake high schools i’m (16). things i like to do is I play volleyball for the high school, I like working on cars, i play video games *League of legends*. the reason I joined this group is because the people and I would like to spread my culture and let people know what it’s about and I also want to be more connected with my culture and learn more about it. My genre of music i listen to is a very wide variety from kpop groups like twice,bts,seventeen. I also like rnb such as Bryson tiller,H.E.R, and bruno mars. other genres i listen to is rap,older rnb, and japanese music. I love hanging out with my friends and family I want to spend as much time as i can with them because you could never know what can happen and remember don’t take anything for granted. my dreams for the future is spread my culture more, and graduate to major in architecture or marketing and advertising :)
